Terms, privacy, and refunds
Everything that governs the Kelvio subscription, in Italian and without cross-references.
Terms of sale
Kelvio is a monthly subscription service for food industry operators (VAT-registered entities). The fee is indicated excluding VAT; Italian VAT at 22% will be calculated and applied at checkout.
The subscription renews automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time from the 'Subscription' area: the service remains active until the end of the paid period, with no penalties or multi-year commitments.
The activation fee (99 € for the Digital plan, 490 € for the Automatic plan) is a one-off payment and covers the location setup and, for the Automatic plan, the hardware kit.
The Automatic plan hardware kit remains the property of the customer after payment of the activation fee.
Recesso e rimborsi
The monthly fee already charged is not refundable pro-rata: upon cancellation, the service continues until the end of the paid month.
The hardware kit can be returned within 14 days of delivery, intact and in its original packaging, with a refund of the activation fee minus shipping costs.
As these are contracts between professionals, the consumer's right of withdrawal as per the Consumer Code does not apply; the above conditions are contractually granted by Kelvio.
Informativa privacy
The data controller is the company providing the Kelvio service, contactable at the privacy address indicated on the invoice.
Dati trattati: dati identificativi e di fatturazione del locale, dati di accesso degli operatori (nome, email), e dati operativi di autocontrollo (temperature, lotti, consegne, checklist firmate).
Purpose and legal basis: contract execution (service provision and invoicing) and legal obligation for tax document retention. Self-monitoring data is stored for at least 12 months, as required by HACCP practice, and cannot be modified or deleted: the log is append-only with a hash chain.
External Processors: cloud infrastructure provider (hosting and database, within EU area) and payment provider, who processes payment data independently as a data controller. Card data never transits through Kelvio systems.
Data subject rights: access, rectification, restriction, portability, and objection, exercisable by writing to the data controller's address. Self-monitoring records must be retained and can only be added to.
Fatturazione elettronica
During payment, VAT number and billing address are collected. The receipt is immediately available in the Subscription area.
The electronic invoice to the Exchange System is issued by the connected accounting software: provide your recipient code or certified email (PEC) at activation to receive it correctly.
